70S TWIN
Spirit of the seventies, performance of… now
Just like the spirit of the seventies, the twin fin never really died – it lives on in the muscle memory of old surfers and shapers, and in the upgraded designs of guys like Johnny, who learned from the masters. Johnny’s version has plenty of the cruisy retro feel of a classic twin, but with all the extra sensitivity and response you expect from a modern master of performance shapes.
Inspired by the Californian movement from the 1960s and ’70s, and the transition from longboards to shortboards. It gave rise to this small model, with 2 fins, that led to more aggressive and modern maneuvers.
